We're all doing the happy dance here at the winery so why don't you go out and grab a bottle and join us! Here's the Review:

"A blend of undisclosed varieties from the Central Valley, and a great bargain. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the lush red fruit, spice, mocha and anise flavors, and how easy this wine is to like. Editors' Choice - SH"

First bottle of Roadside Red rolls off the bottling line!

It’s getting real here at Victor Vineyards with the first bottle of Victor Vineyards (with many to follow) rolling off the bottling line.

What is Roadside Red you ask?

Ask any resident of Victor, CA (pop. 290) why the rooster crossed the road—their answer may surprise you. You see, there’s an old story about the rooster who preferred wine over water, known to cross Hwy 12 during harvest to try the best of each vintage. So if you happen to travel down our highway and spot a rooster on a mission, give him some space and track his path, he may just lead you to our latest vintage of Roadside Red. Roadside Red is a rich, full-bodied blend from vineyards surrounding the town of Victor, just east of Lodi, CA. This Zinfandel based wine is loaded with layers of violets, black currant, blueberry and spice, and yes, it pairs great with chicken.

Behind the scenes at the VV drawing board

This is where the months creative design and tough decisions come off the drawing board and onto the bottle. Many thanks to Thermostat Design and Collotype printing for helping us produce some great packaging for our wines!

Looking good after 112 years!

Still going strong after 112 years, the Zinfandel from our Dixon Vineyard produces rich, bold, concentrated Zinfandel. This vineyard adds a lot of complexity to our Old Vine Zinfandel blend and is an American treasure.

Century Old Palm Tree Rescue

If you have never seen a thirty foot palm tree transplanted, it's truly a sight to see. Victor Vineyards rescued 37, century old date palms from a vacant lot in Stockton California and re-located them to our winery along East Highway 12 in Victor, CA. Needless to say, it was a huge event for the small town with locals coming by to congratulate owner Rob Lawsons revitalization program. Be sure to swing by the winery and enjoy the shade these great palms produce on a hot summer day.
